Abbott Product Alerts

How will I know if an Abbott Feeding is updated?

Abbott products will be updated in WebNova™ as changes are needed. When an Abbott Feeding has been updated, you will see an alert banner at the top of your screen (example below).

STEP 1:

Click the “Learn More” link to get the details on the product update.

STEP 2:

You will land on the “Archived Feedings” page of WebNova. At the top of the page, you will see the name of the product that has been updated and details on what has been updated. These are the typical updates that can be made:

  • Abbott Feeding Name Update – the details will show you the previous name and the new name
  • Abbott Product Is Discontinued – the details will show you the name of the product being discontinued
  • Abbott Product Formulation Change – the details will give you the name of the product that has changed, the previous nutrient amount, and the new amount

The demonstration video below is for learning purposes to showcase WebNova functionality and is not intended to represent actual clinical practice or product changes.

What Are Archived Feedings?

When an Abbott Feeding has been updated or discontinued, you can still refer to the previous feeding details for these Abbott products and any Custom Feedings you created using these Abbott products on the “Archived Feedings” page. These Feedings will remain there for 6 months. You will not be able to edit them at this point, though you can export a PDF to view or print the details.
